Happy Friday!
It's been a long week with me recovering but all is going well now post op day 8.  We were concerned initially because my liver enzymes were WAY elevated at a level I was definitely not happy with but I had them checked again this Tuesday and they are NORMAL! Yeah!
The boys are great, Tyler is busy with his t-ball and enjoying learning from his coach Matt. I am on the sidelines mostly chasing "Chase" but from what I can tell, he is doing well. His team is the Rough Riders and I am the Team Mom which has been fun. I planned the first team social and everyone showed up so I guess that is good!:)

Chase is busy, not really talking much at his 17 months but BUSY!! Did I already say that...busy, busy, and more busy! He loves to be outside and finally has stopped eating the sand so now we have fun in the sandbox.
For me...I am heading out to a girls night...Have a great weekend!

As good as the family photo could get this Easter 2009.
I don't look like I am in too much pain, do I?

It's all done! I had the surgery today at noon and all went well. I have a load of movies to watch and catch up on for the weekend so I am going to make the most of my "recovery" time! Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.
 Love, Colin

My big day!

I will be having my silly gallbladder removed next Thursday at 12noon! I might officially be committed to an institution due to hunger and thus extreme crankiness! But I am sure I will make it:) Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!

Tucson, Arizona
This red bird followed us around our walk...
Me walking the "sacred walk", something powerful was to happen in the middle...
Our hotel
Chase has found a new fascination with hats!

It has been a great weekend. I went to Tucson Arizona for an annual fundraising event called BEad Inspired. It was amazing and so good to be at their headquarters. I joined the Board of Beads of Courage last year and love the cause and what it does for the kids and their families. Jean, is a nurse who founded the program/organization. She has 3 young kids, loves nursing and is very inspiring. I had a blast and my boys did too! Eric had a great weekend and they all came to pick me up Sunday night.
On the gallstone front: I go to the surgeon tomorrow so we will see what the future holds...
Have a great week!

 Weird pain x 2 nights = doctor appointment & ultrasound = gallstones!

yuck! yuck! yuck! I see the surgeon next week so we can get rid of these silly things!

My sis had hers out years ago, so it has always been a concern especially after my pregnancies that we would see this day.

Just pray for the non-fat, no dairy and no spicy food diet I am now on....yuck, yuck, yuck!

Sweet Chase...after a long day at the Dallas gardens...

The Arboretum in Dallas, "dallas blooms" event!

We took a day trip yesterday with some friends to the arboretum in downtown dallas. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the scenery and all the fun playhouses for the kids to adventure in. One day...I hope to learn how to make my backyard look like this! I think it might take professional help!!!

Attention please: My sister has actually updated her blog with some new photos of my adorable new nephew Austin...www.theworldofadam.blogspot.com.

Thanks Sissy! I know you are a new mommy and all trying to juggle no maternity leave, a new baby, a toddler and a hubby...but a aunt has to have some pics every once in a while!

Should I be worried?

1. I took the job of Tyler's team mom for his 4 year old t-ball...I have never played sports nor had any brothers...
2. I hear I might have to keep score or something...
3. My friend Dawn says I should take a market research trip to see what other team mom's do these days
4. I can organize and bring snacks but there might be more to this whole deal

Should I be worried?

Tyler asked me if my Vitamin water was wine? Then he wanted a sip...

Every time we go to the grocery, Tyler says "hey mom...do you need some wine?"

What the fascination with wine is? I don't know! We hardly drink it but if you ask him, he thinks mommy needs wine all the time...hmmm....

Trip home...to Georgia & Tennessee...
We were able to visit with my sis and andy and the boys for the day and then get all dressed up to go to a friend's wedding, it was a beautiful day and night!
Sweet adam..
Uncle Eric Rocks!
Ty and his best gal Blakely. He was so excited to see her, he picked out a new doll for her and ran so fast to her front door, he tripped over his feet and busted his head all up...She accepted him anyway although he cried for alot! Blakely is the new big sis to a sweet baby girl Emery that we were excited to meet.
Carmen's Addison "addy", sweet girl, we had a great time together!
Will I ever own these sweet socks....I don't think so!
So I must covet them with my sweet friend, Audra's little Lily...
Sweet Lily slept most of the visit...which gave her mommy and me some time at the Flying Biscuit...yummy!
Nothing makes me happier than to see my friends as mommies! I love it!
Papa Mike & Chase at this big big Truck!

Chase had free reign and loved it!
Tyler has given up his obsession with trucks and trains for DINOSAURS!
He knows all their names and their stats. It's impressive. He loved this Great exhibit at the Tellus Museum in Cartersville, GA
A fun trip to the museum with the boys and my sweet dad.
My girls, Courtney and Dawn. It was a total treat to enjoy a great lunch and get to spend some time with Courtney's beautiful Peyton!

It was a great trip home....We miss  you all!
