Dinosaur World...hmmm....4 year old money maker! 100 lifesize dinosaurs scattered in a field...Tyler was asleep when we passed this so thankfully we did not have to stop...but I am sure we will be back!
Before I had a boy, I had NO idea what the name of this was...now I know an entire dinosaur vocabulary!
Our day trip to Glen Rose Texas, Fossil Rim Wildlife Reserve
9 1/2 mile drive thru a beautiful nature area with wild animals (zebras, giraffe, rhino, cheetah, lots of varieties that looked like goats, emus, and ostrich...and lots more)...
My "big" boy thought it was funny to put the food on the roof so we could get "friends" to come a little closer...

It was a great Memorial Day!

Meet Angus & Ebba, they are friends of ours and Eric went to college with both of them back in South Carolina. We all went out to the Kenny Chesney concert this past Sunday night but started over at our house for a little apps and drinks. We had a blast. He played alone for over 3 1/2 hours! The first concert got rained out so it was a treat for him to come back and put on the biggest Texas "honky tonk" that anyone had ever seen! It was a blast and it was a great night out for all of us:) I have not danced and sang that much maybe since my college days at the fraternity band parties:)

Great memories! We lost our sweet Bailey today. She went to "doggy" heaven this afternoon. Eric and I got married in November 7 1/2 years ago and Bailey was born the first week of January. We were there 2 days after she was born before her eyes were even open. Then we visited every week until we could take her home. It was such a treat to have her as a puppy, don't get me wrong, she was a little terror but a fun one! She loved piedmont park and had a thing for the white fluffy dogs, we did not get to spend much time at the dog park because of those white pups but she did love it! When we moved to the house in Hamilton Mill she discovered that she could "buzz" around the yard until the heat came. She always liked perfect weather and would love to lay on the porch or patio. Moving to Texas has been a little tough on her, our yard has been small but even last friday we were splashing in the pool with her. As you can see in the pictures, I had a lot to keep my arms around but I am sure miss her!
She has left us with awesome memories!

Tyler: "Is Jesus going to come to the doctor to get bailey"
Tyler: " How many stairs is bailey going to have to climb to get up there (heaven)"
Tyler: " Nana, Bailey is going to die but she is going to a really fun place"
I love this boy! He gave her big hugs and kisses to say goodbye and for Chase, he feeds half his food to Bailey every meal so I only pray his memory is brief or I am going to have a big mess to clean up:))
Good night, it's been quite a day!

Mother's Day 2009

It was a pretty good day. After my mom passed 8 years ago, it has always been a hard day for me. I pray that the heavens part from time to time for her to see our families and I am comforted that she is in a fabulous place...but I still miss her like crazy!
We began the day with enjoying the morning at home and then we went off to church and had a great message. We took a big family nap and then I went off to do some girl pampering at the nail shop and picked up some yummy steaks. Dinner by the pool and then off to a beautiful field to take some pictures to remember this day.
We got some really bad news about our 7 year old boxer. She has metastatic lung cancer and probably does not have much longer. We are giving her some steroids for comfort and lots of love and treats:) It has happened so fast and Eric and I are just so sad. Bailey and Eric are definitely a pair as you can see in the pics...

What is Mommy Doing these days??

Beads, Beads and more beads!
I am really loving my role as program girl on the Beads of Courage board. I picked these up last week at a bead artist trunk show, over 400 beads to be delivered to the children in the Dallas area who are battling cancer and cardiac conditions! So fun!
I am going to take a class this summer to learn how to do this! I am just wondering where Eric is going to let me keep my torches and crafty gear!

The boys are great! I will upload pics later this week. We are going on week 2 of Eric out of town so mommy is a little slow getting new pics on.
Ty had his first t-ball game and it was adorable! He would hit and then run to 2nd and then to home plate. The other kids were running from first to third and all with big wobbly batting helments on to top off the adorable scene!
Pics to come!
Chase is a busy boy! Do I always say that?!? He is starting to put 2 words together now saying night, night & bye bye...fun times!

Happy Nurses Week to all my Favorites out there!
