Dear Friends and Family,
It has been a while since we posted not because we were too busy, just too busy to figure out my password, where has my memory gone:) Well, Tyler is amazing us every day. He is talking up a storm and learning new words all the time. He is saying his ABC's all the way to Z, and is counting his numbers. He has even started telling me when it is time for his bath and "night night", I never thought I would see the day:) He has also started his Mother's morning out school on Tuesday and Thursday and it is going really well. I think it is more Children's morning out, he loves his teachers and his new buddies. We will be celebrating his birthday in just over a week:) Love, Colin & Tyler

Happy New Years!
We have had a really great holiday. Eric has not had to travel for the last few weeks and we have loved every minute of it. We celebrated New Years with a great night out to the hot spot in downtown Buford, Aqua Terra Bistro and 37 Main. Thanks to Eric's parents for playing with Tyler while we enjoyed a great night out!

Smith family Christmas Eve 2006

Merry Christmas! The Smith family celebrated one day early this year because Colin is working this Christmas day. We had our amazing family come visit and had a great dinner last night as well as breakfast and lots of presents this morning. Tyler had a ball. He woke up about 8am and was very cautious about coming down stairs his face was priceless when he saw the family and of course lots of presents. His favorites so far, are his new table, books, basketball goal and a harmonica and shopping cart. He is definitely going to be busy for a while! We had a great day and are so incredibly blessed this year. We hope you enjoy this season with your family and friends! Love, Colin

Christmas 2005, Tyler was not even 1 yet. Just wanted to share some memories!
We spent tonight driving around looking at lights and went to the Lake Lanier Night of Lights. It was great, 6 miles of "lights" which is also Tyler's favorite word these days. His favorite parts were the candy canes and of course the snowmen. He can't get enough snowmen these days. We went to visit our family in Greenville this weekend and had a blast. Tyler only broke 2 ornaments at Auntie Caryl's house and only removed about a dozen from my granny's tree, so all in all, it was a successful trip:) We look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

Big Event...First scribbles on the foyer wall:)
Good Evening, it has been a few weeks since we last updated and I apologize for the delays. We spent last week traveling to attend my grandfather's funeral and the whole event was such a great tribute to my amazing papa. We thank you for your prayers.
As far as Tyler goes, he is 1 day away from being 20 months old! He is now coloring, throwing balls (well everything), riding a tricycle, eating lots of new foods, and saying a few words together now. He is been on a little sleeping strike lately so hopefully we will pull thru this sometime soon, it brings me back to his baby days:) Have a great week:) Love, Colin

Good Morning! We have been away quite a bit lately. Eric and I went away for an early anniversary trip to Grand Cayman last week and had a blast! It was beautiful and relaxing. I can hardly believe it has almost been 5 years since we were married. It was nice to be back in the islands again, we were married in St. Thomas:) Tyler is doing great, he had a great time at his Nana's and Grandpa's house while we were away. I hope they have finally relaxed since he left:) Hope this finds you all enjoying a beautiful fall friday, Love Colin & Tyler

my Papa
My Aunt Caryl, Happy Birthday
Dear friends,
It has been a very emotional week for us. My grandfather has been suffering from Alzheimers for a while now and on Sunday was admitted to the hospital for a stroke and heart problems. He remains in the hospital and any
prayers for his comfort would be greatly appreciated. While visiting my family, we also got to spend some time to celebrate my Aunt Caryl's birthday. It is always a special day for us to not only celebrate my Aunt but also my mom, her twin sister. So as the week comes to a close, I am just so thankful for an amazing family and all of our friends. Thanks for your support. Love, Colin

Good Evening,
Eric and I have had a great weekend just enjoying all being home. Eric had been on the west coast all week and I was hearing daddy's all day long. I think it was a good thing he came home on Friday because we all might have had a breakdown for daddy!!! Tyler is a blast these days he is saying new words every day and is full speed ahead all day. He had his 18 month check up at the pediatrician this week and other than 3 shots, all is great. His stats are up from last time, finally out of the 14th percentile!!! He is a very good eater these days!! Well, we love you all and have a great week!
