Sorry it has been so long since we had an update, I don't know where the weeks go these days. Tyler is doing great and we are enjoying having Eric home for the last few weeks. We have spent time enjoying the fall days and lots of play time outside with Tyler . He is now riding a tricycle and currently on a nap strike! So we go, go, go all day! Good Evening, it has been a few weeks since we last updated and I apologize for the delays. We spent last week traveling to attend my grandfather's funeral and the whole event was such a great tribute to my amazing papa. We thank you for your prayers.

As far as Tyler goes, he is 1 day away from being 20 months old! He is now coloring, throwing balls (well everything), riding a tricycle, eating lots of new foods, and saying a few words together now. He is been on a little sleeping strike lately so hopefully we will pull thru this sometime soon, it brings me back to his baby days:) Have a great week:) Love, Colin

Grand Cayman, Sept 2006

Good Morning! We have been away quite a bit lately. Eric and I went away for an early anniversary trip to Grand Cayman last week and had a blast! It was beautiful and relaxing. I can hardly believe it has almost been 5 years since we were married. It was nice to be back in the islands again, we were married in St. Thomas:) Tyler is doing great, he had a great time at his Nana's and Grandpa's house while we were away. My Aunt Caryl, Happy Birthday

Dear friends,

It has been a very emotional week for us. My grandfather has been suffering from Alzheimers for a while now and on Sunday was admitted to the hospital for a stroke and heart problems. He remains in the hospital and any
prayers for his comfort would be greatly appreciated. While visiting my family, we also got to spend some time to celebrate my Aunt Caryl's birthday. It is always a special day for us to not only celebrate my Aunt but also my mom, her twin sister. So as the week comes to a close, I am just so thankful for an amazing family and all of our friends. We spent this Labor Day weekend at one of our favorite places, Hilton Head. We met up with my aunt and uncle and had a blast in the sunshine. We really could have stayed another week to relax, play and enjoy yummy food (thanks Caryl!!) We hope all had a great holiday weekend! Love, Colin

Good Evening,

Eric and I have had a great weekend just enjoying all being home. Eric had been on the west coast all week and I was hearing daddy's all day long. I think it was a good thing he came home on Friday because we all might have had a breakdown for daddy!!! Tyler is a blast these days he is saying new words every day and is full speed ahead all day. He had his 18 month check up at the pediatrician this week and other than 3 shots, all is great. His stats are up from last time, finally out of the 14th percentile!!! He is a very good eater these days!! Well, we love you all and have a great week!

Good Morning,

I can not believe it is August and the last week before school starts around here. We have over 20 kids in our cul-de-sac and it is about to get really quiet around here. Did summer go by so fast when we were all little?? Well, Tyler and I are enjoying the sunshine this week. We are about to head out to the pool with our neighbors. Have a great Tuesday!

Thanks to Ash and Andy for a great weekend in Nashville. We had a great time at the concert and it was very romantic! I got some much needed snuggle time with my nephew Adam and Tyler was perfect in the car both ways! Tyler has had trouble with his carseat, he cries more like screams on most trips so this was a major event! I think Barney on the DVD gets most of the credit but I tried all kinds of new things too. Eric is home this week so we are enjoying being home... love to all! Have a great week! Love, Colin

Happy Birthday Eric! 33 years old:)

Eric celebrated his 33rd birthday yesterday, July 21st! As we were talking about his birthday we were looking back at what the past year has brought with our family! Tyler for one is amazing, the fact that he is an absolute mirror image of his father is breathtaking and everyday just brings more and more smiles. Not only have we been so blessed but everyone we know has been as well! As for birthday festivities...We had a great day, starting with IHOP for breakfast (pic above), and then on to date night while my dad so kindly babysat (toddler sat) for us. We saw a funny movie (You, Me and Dupree) and then went shopping at Nordstrom and to Houston's for dinner. We had a terrific night! Thanks again dad for the "free" service:) Much appreciated! Good Morning! We are off to a late start today, Tyler woke up at 10am! He woke up and talked for about an hour about something "very serious!" This is normal for him to wake up and just talk, talk,talk but usually he does not fall back asleep. So this morning I have already done the laundry, cleaned up the house, dishes are done! Tyler and I are having breakfast and then off to the pool...Love to you all on this beautiful Tuesday! These pics are for my dad...he always is concerned that Tyler is too warm...so he is "airing out" this morning in his T-shirt and Diaper!

We spent a wonderful friday last week in Greenville, South Carolina visiting my grandparents and letting Tyler get spoiled by his "great granny!" We also stopped by for a quick visit at my Aunt Caryl's office for some quick hugs and kisses. We had a ball and look forward to coming back. Tyler and I are enjoying being home this week, just playing and going to the pool! Love to you all...this summer is flying by!

Tyler and I have had a busy week. We left on Sunday to beautiful Sea Island to meet up with our friends Jen, Ashley and my sis Ashley and all of our kids. We stayed at Jen's cottage and enjoyed all catching up! It is amazing all that happens in a short 2 years. We have all been married now 5 years (give or take a few months) and had children within the last 2 years. It was a blast to watch them all interact and Tyler definitely has a new girlfriend, Morgan Savula. They must of hugged and kisses a hundred times. Of course my sister's son Adam (5 months) was a champ hanging out with the crazy toddlers..just smiling like he always does! Well, that is what we have been up too, now just getting the house back together since I have been working and traveling....off to do more laundry!!! Have a great and Safe 4th weekend!

Good Morning! Happy Friday! Sis posted this picture of Adam to the left and I found the one of Tyler at the same age with his first experience with the "jump up!" Tyler spent lots of time working on his leg muscles with this toy and had a ball! Once he learned to swing in it by pushing off and pulling his legs up, we thought it was time to stop..he would be practically swinging from door to door! I am just amazed at how fast Adam is growing and getting older! We love these boys so much and it is such a blast to watch them grow up together! Love to everyone this beautiful Friday! Hi Friends and Family,

We just got back a bit ago from our favorite mountain retreat in Blue Ridge, Georgia. We usually spend our holidays up there because it is a great getaway and meeting place for all the family. My Aunt and uncle Jim have a cabin across from ours so we have plenty of beds and with all these babies they are filling up fast! We enjoyed the weekend with my cousin John and his wife and son, my cousin Josh, my sis and her husband Andy and baby Adam, my Aunt Caryl and Unlce Mike and Grandmother Ruth. We of course had my dad as Tyler now calls "PAPA." We had a great Father's day weekend complete with lots of food, naps and great conversation. The boys kept us all busy and we look forward to a nice relaxing week. Eric had a great father's day and is now up at the golf course finishing up "his" day. Tyler hardly made it home to his bed, he was pooped:)

This week I decided it would be fun to take Tyler to the petting zoo here called the Yellow River Game Ranch. We woke up this morning to 70 degree weather and it was perfect to be outside with him so off we went. We went with my friends Mandy and Ellen and their girls (Molly, Riley and Madison). We had a great time feeding the animals LOTS of crackers, carrots and peanuts. Tyler loves to feed our boxer Bailey every thing he eats and the zoo was no different, he would take a bite of the cracker and then feed the rest to the deer. These were some well fed animals (lots of hefty rabbits, deer, foxes, bears, porcipines and squirrels). You can hand feed everything and from the pictures you can see the kids really enjoyed it. Tyler is now sleeping, probably for a few hours after this busy morning. Thanks again Mandy and Ellen for joining us...your girls are so cute!
