Off to Texas....
We have exciting news to report: Eric has been offered an incredible promotion with adidas and the new role is located in the adidas south office outside of Dallas Texas in the city of Frisco. He will be the South region general manager and reporting directly up to the president of adidas...woo hoo! big job! I'm very proud of him!!! We already have our house on the market and are praying for a buyer...so I can quit having to keep it so clean with 2 little ones around:) We are looking forward to this great opportunity for our family and hope you all will come visit! I am trying to work a pool in my "moving contract" with Eric. Ha!
So far, all Tyler has said is that he wants to take his bed to Texas. So sweet. Chase is doing great, he is sleeping thru the night now and laughing alot. He loves his exersaucer and just laughs like crazy at Tyler. Tyler is such a great big brother. He has decided that naptime "is not a good idea." so we are now having rest time which most days are successful. He is busy with his little school 2 days a week and enjoys showing me all his latest art work. He can count to 40 and is starting to spell everything, i mean everything, in sight. It's pretty facinating watching his little mind work. He is working on writing his letters and so far he has a few down pretty good. His favorite is the "h" and they are all over my driveway. The potential homebuyers are probably wondering what the h's are all about. He has started asking what each letter is for and last week, we were talking about the famous "h" and he said H is for Heaven and I know people there...Nana Cheryl and Nick Nick. It is amazing that he remembers these things and puts them all together. Of course nick nick is my father's dog who passed away and Cheryl is my mother that he never knew. We are talking about her more now that he is able to process a little. Such a blessing!!
We ask for your prayers over the coming months. We know this transition will be stressful at times but we feel confident that this is where we are supposed to be. Love to all!

This is what my floor looks like on any given day...covered in Train tracks! Ty has a ball!
What a sweet picture, Ty and his friend Blakely playing on my bed. Blakely lives across the street and is a dear friend to Ty. They both wake up each morning asking to play together. So cute!!! Happy Easter weekend! Love, The Smith's

Last weekend in Blue Ridge Georgia
My sis and her boys, and my beautiful Granny
Smith's March 2008
Ty had a blast with all his cousins!
Chase...now 4 1/2 months old...We had a great weekend in Blue Ridge with our family. We always go up this time of year to celebrate family birthdays. This year we celebrated my uncle Jim's birthday and remembered our beloved Papa who is no longer with us but it was great to spend time remembering him. Tyler had a blast with his cousin Adam and all of his second cousins..We had 3 babies under the age of 4 months, and 4 bigger kiddos! The weather was beautiful, it looked like a movie waking up to the snow falling on Saturday. Chase is doing great! He is now 4 1/2 months old and is starting to roll over and eat rice and oatmeal cereal. Most nights he is sleeping. I am back to work and enjoying my 20 hours of nursing. The boys are loving their Nana being around more while I am away at work. Have a great weekend!!!

Monday, February 25, 2008

It's an amazing Monday! The boys and I had a great morning at the park. Tyler played on the playground and Chase tried out the swing for the first time. They both were smiling but that does not seem to come accross in the picture! The weather here is 70 degrees, sunny and the best blue sky we have seen in months. We are enjoying it today, tomorrow will be cooler they say. Have a great day...It's my last week home on maternity leave..

I love this picture
Yum Yum!!
It's official, my baby boy is now 3!
Tyler had a great weekend with friends and family celebrating the big birthday! He had his party at the "jumpy place" as he calls it and had a blast. He was so blessed to have lots of new toys, bubble machines and a few new trucks and trains. Thanks to everyone making it such a great day for him!
