What a sweet picture, Ty and his friend Blakely playing on my bed. Blakely lives across the street and is a dear friend to Ty. They both wake up each morning asking to play together. So cute!!!

Chase...now 4 1/2 months old...

We had a great weekend in Blue Ridge with our family. We always go up this time of year to celebrate family birthdays. This year we celebrated my uncle Jim's birthday and remembered our beloved Papa who is no longer with us but it was great to spend time remembering him. Tyler had a blast with his cousin Adam and all of his second cousins..We had 3 babies under the age of 4 months, and 4 bigger kiddos! The weather was beautiful, it looked like a movie waking up to the snow falling on Saturday. Chase is doing great! He is now 4 1/2 months old and is starting to roll over and eat rice and oatmeal cereal. Most nights he is sleeping. I am back to work and enjoying my 20 hours of nursing. The boys are loving their Nana being around more while I am away at work. Have a great weekend!!!

Today...we tried Rice Cereal! I can't believe he is 4 months old. It is crazy how time flies!

It's an amazing Monday! The boys and I had a great morning at the park. Tyler played on the playground and Chase tried out the swing for the first time. They both were smiling but that does not seem to come accross in the picture! The weather here is 70 degrees, sunny and the best blue sky we have seen in months. We are enjoying it today, tomorrow will be cooler they say. Have a great day...It's my last week home on maternity leave..

It's official, my baby boy is now 3!
Tyler had a great weekend with friends and family celebrating the big birthday! He had his party at the "jumpy place" as he calls it and had a blast. He was so blessed to have lots of new toys, bubble machines and a few new trucks and trains. Thanks to everyone making it such a great day for him!

I have to admit, I have waited for the day when I get to hang up my pre-schooler's artwork!

I love it, every day he goes to school he says "mommy, I am going to make you something..it is a suprise." And when I pick him up 3 hours later, he rushes to his bag and pulls out his folder with his latest and greatest art! Tyler is doing great as a big brother. I really can't remember life before Chase and Tyler has adjusted beautifully. He loves to help out! I can't believe he is turning 3 in just 10 days! Well..both boys are sleeping and I am going to turn in too...Good Night!

Boys, Boys and more Boys!

My two cousins, John and Joe have welcomed in the last few weeks more boys to the family. This makes a house full of baby and toddler boys at our next family gathering. We are so blessed!

Silly Adam..this was a blast!
We traveled this past weekend to Nashville to celebrate with our nephew his 2nd Birthday! Adam had a ball opening his presents loving everything from his sit-n-spin to his new Thomas train...We also had a chance to see our friends, John & Maura who were visiting from Toronto, so thanks to our family for babysitting on Saturday!!! It was Chase's first BIG trip in the car and many of you know Chase does not like his carseat so much. But this trip, was perfect! He was an angel. We are still battling reflux and now have switched to Prilosec. It seems to do the trick, although the nights are still a little trying for him. Each week is better so maybe it is a little colic too:) I can't believe tomorrow the little guy turns 3 months old. I will be taking off one more month from work with the hopes of him sleeping a bit longer during the nights and his belly feeling better! Ty is a busy boy these days, he is counting 1-15, saying his ABC's, starting to write a little and loving to color and of course play with his trucks, trains and anything else he can find. It won't be long and we will be celebrating his 3rd birthday! Well...Ty is asleep and idol is on...Gotta Run! Colin
