First Pony Ride...
Today was a great day, it is Eric's 34th birthday! We started the morning at our favorite bagel/muffin shop and then went to the gym. The afternoon we spent at the CURE Childhood Cancer Family Picnic and Tyler had a blast! After a good nap, Tyler woke up to his Papa Mike to play with while mommy and daddy went out for the night. We had a great time! We came home to find Papa Mike and Tyler sound asleep in Tyler's big boy bed! I would have taken a picture but I learned early on my dad does not like to be startled when asleep:) Too sweet...good night...love, Colin

Tyler and I took a short trip to Blue Ridge to see my dad and Tyler caught his first fish in the back yard of our cabin. He had a blast throwing rocks in Big Creek and playing with his Papa Mike.

Update on Baby Boy Chase....
All is going so well with our pregnancy. Chase is now about 15 ounces and is growing perfectly! We had our 22 week ultrasound last week with my high risk doctor and did all his measurements and all was right on track. We saw all his fingers and toes and got some great pictures. I am feeling him move alot now more at night time which is how I felt with Ty. I am definitely looking pregnant now, it's amazing how much faster this time than with Ty. We go back to the doctor in a month right before we head off to Hawaii for my friend Katie's wedding...we will update more on Chase after the next appointment, we should have 4D pics then too!

Trucks and Trains it is....It's A Boy!!!!!!
We found out today we will be welcoming baby boy Chase into the world come November. I am now 17 weeks and everything is perfect. The baby weighs 8 ounces at this point (about the size of a juice box) and has all 10 fingers and 10 toes! It's truly amazing what you can see this early...Oh..his name, we had 2 boy names picked out before we had Ty so this was easy...Chase it is...middle name TBD. Love to all..Love, Colin & Eric and Big Brother to be Tyler.

Our summer is off to a great start, we are enjoying the pool daily when I am not working and loving the beautiful weather. We went to Hilton Head over Memorial day weekend and Tyler had a ball. We will post pics tonight.

It's official..we are now 12 weeks along with Smith Baby #2..due date 11-11-07!

Head is to the Left and the Legs are to the Right. We had a good look at the "private areas" and it looks like we might be adding some baby dolls to our trucks and trains collection. The ultrasound was high definition so we were even able to see "her" sucking her thumb the entire time. Amazing, at 12 weeks "she" was kicking her legs all over and growing perfectly. We go back in 4 weeks...

A few weeks ago, I traveled to Dallas for a nursing conference with some of my peers.
You can hardly see this, but this was the research poster presentation myself and Lisa did at the conference...we WON for outstanding educational research presentation!

Well, it has been a busy month and now that I remember my password I can update again. I don't know where my head is:) We have had a few big events..the biggest being that Tyler has "no more pacifer!!!" On friday night I was working and Eric could not find the paci when it was time for bed. He told Ty that "paci was all gone" and Tyler just looked at him with a serious look and said "paci all gone..." That was it! Here I thought it was going to be the most tramatic event in my toddlers life thus far. And it turned out.."Paci all gone did the trick." So with each bedtime and naptime he tells us the paci is all gone! It is too cute, other than the withdrawl symptoms of extreme irritability over the last few days we are doing great:)

We are loving the spring time, summer weather and enjoying playing outside during the days. Tyler's 2 year check up was great, he was in the 20% for weight and 50% for height. The doctors say he is very healthy. He is repeating everything these days. He loves to say his ABC's and count his numbers. It is amazing at 2 what he already knows. Well, we are off to start the day! Have a great week!

It was an amazing weekend, my dear friend Carmen got married! We spent a great time in Atlanta for the weekend (a trip when you live an hour outside the city). We enjoyed great food at Maggiano's for her rehersal dinner and lots of toasting!
We also got to see our friends Ashley and Jen and my sis to celebrate Ashley's 30th birthday. It was a great weekend and I am going to be catching up on sleep the whole week...

PS> Tyler did not perform his "ring boy" duties, although he did "ham it" up for the camera after the ceremony to appear that he did:) What can you expect from a just 2 year old:) We were proud parents anyway...when it was his turn to walk down the isle with mommy he screamed inside the Catholic cathedral...GO HOME, GO HOME! Nice:) I just smiled and went down the isle as a proud mom and matron of honor.

I can hardly believe 2 years have gone by! We will celebrate today with family in town and enjoy yummy "cake" as Tyler has been talking about it for days....He holds 2 fingers up so he gets it a little bit but really just likes that there is a Bob the Builder Tablecloth on:) It is a beautiful sunny day in Georgia, hope you have a great day!
