Trucks and Trains it is....It's A Boy!!!!!!
We found out today we will be welcoming baby boy Chase into the world come November. I am now 17 weeks and everything is perfect. The baby weighs 8 ounces at this point (about the size of a juice box) and has all 10 fingers and 10 toes! It's truly amazing what you can see this early...Oh..his name, we had 2 boy names picked out before we had Ty so this was easy...Chase it is...middle name TBD. Love to all..Love, Colin & Eric and Big Brother to be Tyler.

Head is to the Left and the Legs are to the Right. We had a good look at the "private areas" and it looks like we might be adding some baby dolls to our trucks and trains collection. The ultrasound was high definition so we were even able to see "her" sucking her thumb the entire time. Amazing, at 12 weeks "she" was kicking her legs all over and growing perfectly. We go back in 4 weeks...
Tyler this morning (5-1-07) doing his artwork before school. Does he get any sweeter!!!!
A few weeks ago, I traveled to Dallas for a nursing conference with some of my peers.
You can hardly see this, but this was the research poster presentation myself and Lisa did at the conference...we WON for outstanding educational research presentation!

Well, it has been a busy month and now that I remember my password I can update again. I don't know where my head is:) We have had a few big events..the biggest being that Tyler has "no more pacifer!!!" On friday night I was working and Eric could not find the paci when it was time for bed. He told Ty that "paci was all gone" and Tyler just looked at him with a serious look and said "paci all gone..." That was it! Here I thought it was going to be the most tramatic event in my toddlers life thus far. And it turned out.."Paci all gone did the trick." So with each bedtime and naptime he tells us the paci is all gone! It is too cute, other than the withdrawl symptoms of extreme irritability over the last few days we are doing great:)
We are loving the spring time, summer weather and enjoying playing outside during the days. Tyler's 2 year check up was great, he was in the 20% for weight and 50% for height. The doctors say he is very healthy. He is repeating everything these days. He loves to say his ABC's and count his numbers. It is amazing at 2 what he already knows. Well, we are off to start the day! Have a great week!

It was an amazing weekend, my dear friend Carmen got married! We spent a great time in Atlanta for the weekend (a trip when you live an hour outside the city). We enjoyed great food at Maggiano's for her rehersal dinner and lots of toasting!
We also got to see our friends Ashley and Jen and my sis to celebrate Ashley's 30th birthday. It was a great weekend and I am going to be catching up on sleep the whole week...
PS> Tyler did not perform his "ring boy" duties, although he did "ham it" up for the camera after the ceremony to appear that he did:) What can you expect from a just 2 year old:) We were proud parents anyway...when it was his turn to walk down the isle with mommy he screamed inside the Catholic cathedral...GO HOME, GO HOME! Nice:) I just smiled and went down the isle as a proud mom and matron of honor.

Dear Friends and Family,
It has been a while since we posted not because we were too busy, just too busy to figure out my password, where has my memory gone:) Well, Tyler is amazing us every day. He is talking up a storm and learning new words all the time. He is saying his ABC's all the way to Z, and is counting his numbers. He has even started telling me when it is time for his bath and "night night", I never thought I would see the day:) He has also started his Mother's morning out school on Tuesday and Thursday and it is going really well. I think it is more Children's morning out, he loves his teachers and his new buddies. We will be celebrating his birthday in just over a week:) Love, Colin & Tyler

I worked this Christmas day, here is just a glimpse at the amazing group of nurses I work with.
Happy New Years!
We have had a really great holiday. Eric has not had to travel for the last few weeks and we have loved every minute of it. We celebrated New Years with a great night out to the hot spot in downtown Buford, Aqua Terra Bistro and 37 Main. Thanks to Eric's parents for playing with Tyler while we enjoyed a great night out! Happy New Years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We spent tonight driving around looking at lights and went to the Lake Lanier Night of Lights. It was great, 6 miles of "lights" which is also Tyler's favorite word these days. His favorite parts were the candy canes and of course the snowmen. He can't get enough snowmen these days. We went to visit our family in Greenville this weekend and had a blast. Tyler only broke 2 ornaments at Auntie Caryl's house and only removed about a dozen from my granny's tree, so all in all, it was a successful trip:) We look forward to seeing everyone again soon!
